I’m Clayton Wagner

Coach. Speaker. Founder of Iron & Oak. But none of those titles matter if I can’t be honest first. I’ve sat with men who didn’t know how to talk about shame and watched silence break wide open into healing.

I’ve walked with students who carried more pressure than peace. I’ve been in the middle of marriages falling apart — not just as a coach, but as someone who knows what it’s like to sit across from the person you love and still feel miles apart. I’ve felt the ache of two people trying — and failing — to hear each other. I’ve lived the weight.

WHY I DO THIS

Because I know what it’s like to feel disqualified. To look successful but be spiritually bankrupt. To feel God calling you deeper but not know where to start. I’ve been broken, rebuilt, and burdened with a purpose: To walk beside others as they do the same.

MY MISSION

To help people encounter truth, release what’s been weighing them down, and walk boldly into the calling God placed on their life — fully equipped and finally free.

What exactly do you do?
I coach, teach, and lead people through hands-on, heart-level experiences that help them confront spiritual baggage, rediscover identity, and live with bold purpose. Every program I offer is immersive, honest, and deeply rooted in faith — not fluff.
Is this just for men?
Not at all. While many of my workshops are powerful for men’s ministries, I also work with couples, women’s groups, youth, and entire church bodies. Each program can be tailored to your audience’s unique needs.
Can you come to our church or retreat?

Absolutely. I speak at:

  • Sunday services
  • Weekend retreats
  • Youth events
  • Small group intensives
  • Conferences and leadership gatherings

Do you travel? How far?
Yes — I’m based in Tyler, Texas, but I travel nationwide. Travel costs will be factored into the speaking agreement, but I work with churches of all sizes and budgets. Don’t let location be a deal-breaker — let’s talk.
How long are your workshops or sessions?
  • Rocks Are Not Inheritance: 60 to 90 minutes
  • Encounter: 90 minutes to 2 hours (can be customizable for a single session or multi-week experience)
  • Breaking the Bowl: 1-2 hours
  • Custom Talks/Preaching: As needed

Do you offer coaching outside of church events?

I do offer group coaching and may take on a limited number of private coaching clients (usually by referral or post-event). If you’re interested in a private session or team leadership coaching, just reach out via the Connect Page.

Yes — depending on the program, I can provide:
